In addition to free train rides, you will be able to walk through a locomotive, view railroad maintenance equipment, visit the locomotive shops, see two large model railroad layouts, have your face painted, visit with clowns, play a game, eat food… and more! Children will receive a token of their visit. Tacoma Rail is located at 2601 SR 509 North Frontage Road, between Port of Tacoma Road and Milwaukee Way. Parking is limited, but free shuttles will run between Maritime Fest and Tacoma Rail until after the last train trip. (Don’t plan on parking at Tacoma Rail and attending Maritime fest via the shuttle, as no return trip to Tacoma Rail will be made after approximately 3pm and the parking area closes at 3 pm.)
